Pollinator Work Party at China Lake Park at South Park And Community Center on Saturday, May 2, 2026.
1st Saturday of the Month | 9 am-12 pm at China Lake Park Register online via MyImpact Join Park Steward Maggie in removing invasive species, plant beneficial native plants, support local pollinators and maintain the restoration site at China Lake Park. All ages and abilities welcome, no experience necessary. Tools and training will be provided. Gloves are required. Dress for the weather. Work party will take place rain or shine. What to Bring Bring a water bottle, snack and gardening gloves if you have them (weโll have spares). Where to Meet Please meet at the China Lake Park entrance on South Shirley Street (Get directions). Where to Park Free parking is available on South Shirley Street. Youth Participant Waiver If you are under 18 and attending the event without a parent or guardian, please come to the event with our Youth Participant Waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
