GraceArts members receive discounts on tickets for this Concert. Join today! About the Sixth Station Trio Anju Goto is a San Francisco-native violinist and violist based in the Bay Area. He also works as an arranger for the trio. He started violin at the age of 7, and completed his undergraduate degree at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in 2020. Anju is currently the principal violist of the Vallejo Symphony. He has also played in orchestras including the Jacob Collier Audience Symphony Orchestra, Stardew Valley Symphony of Seasons Orchestra, Modesto Symphony Orchestra, Ensemble Mik Nawooj, and The Berkeley Playhouse, and has participated as an Emerging Artist at the Mendocino Music Festival. Anju was a member of the San Francisco Youth Orchestra from 2015 to 2020, serving as the principal violist during the 2019-2020 season. Besides classical music, he is also interested in a wide variety of genres, such as Baroque performance with period instruments, taking Technology and Applied Composition classes at SFCM, and joining the Pop Strings Ensemble at Thornton.
