POET LAUREATE PROGRAM PRESENTS A POETRY WORKSHOP-READING - Writing Off the Cuff: Poetry, Process & Ease

Calling all writers! The Glendale Poet Laureate Program invites you for the next installment of our workshop-reading series, led by Glendale’s new Poet Laureate, Tina Demirdjian. This workshop includes demonstrations by these “typewriter” poets in how they write poetry “on the spot” using a typewriter. Typewriters will be available to use during the workshop. We'll develop poems and explore craft alongside featured poets Brian Sonia-Wallace (Poet Laureate of Los Angeles), Elizabeth Nail (Typewriters Anonymous, Phillip T. Nails (Typewriters Anonymous). This workshop is free and open to the public, and all levels of experience and language backgrounds are welcome!
