Like the songs of Prohibition Era which so inspire them, their music transforms our troubles into joyous dance songs that help recharge the spirit the way only a wailing horn section can. What you will not hear: “In the Mood.” What you will hear is swinging tunes about everything from gaslighting exes to A.I. to Lizzy’s internet shopping addiction. The group (which hit #3 on iTunes Jazz charts and has accumulated millions of views on their social media) features some of the top musicians in jazz with arrangements by Dan Barrett (played with Benny Goodman) and songrwriting by Lizzy Shaps (whose biting wit garnered 2 Emmy nominations).
