Applegate Meeting Room, New Albany Main Library. Play, Learn & Grow Together! 🧸📚 Looking for a fun way to play, connect and support your little one’s development? Join The Floyd County Library and Metro United Way for Play With Purpose, a FREE nine-week program designed for caregivers and children ages 0–3! Each week, families will enjoy hands-on activities and guided play that help little ones build early literacy, language, motor and social-emotional skills — all while strengthening the special bond between caregivers and children. You’ll also learn simple, practical ways to continue supporting your child’s development at home. What’s included? 🎨 Fun, guided play and learning activities 📚 A FREE book and play item every week 🍎 FREE lunch at every session 💡 Easy strategies you can use at home 📈 Tools to track your child’s developmental milestones 🎁 Additional incentives throughout the program 👶 Childcare available for Play With Purpose group members When: Mondays, August 10–October 5, 11 a.m.–noon Where: New Albany Central Library, 180 W. Spring St., New Albany Created by the National Center for Families Learning, Play With Purpose gives families a welcoming place to play, learn and grow together.
