TU Meeting Room, Tuckahoe Area Library. Workshop for Child Care Providers. This staff-led workshop will inform caregivers on the fundamentals of play schemas and their role in childhood development. Play schemas are repeated patterns of behavior through which young children (typically 2-6) explore, organize, and make sense of their world through play. Caregivers will also learn practical applications to encourage exploration in schemas through invitations to play. Child care providers earn 1.5 hours of continuing education credit.
