About this event
A phlebotomy technician is a trained medical professional responsible for collecting blood and other body fluids from patients for medical tests or donations in a skilled, safe, and reliable manner. This course offers practical, hands-on experience to help prepare you for a successful career as a phlebotomist. Phlebotomy is a valuable skill to learn for current medical professionals and can also be pursued as a standalone career path. Books and supplies are included in the class. Upon completing all requirements, you will be eligible to sit for a national certification exam. If the idea of learning to draw blood excites you as a potential career, register today! Registered students must attend a required Healthcare Orientation prior to the start of class.
