Pet Portrait Workshop

Make a heartfelt portrait of your pet in this fun and engaging one-day workshop! Learn to build a painting from start to finish using acrylic paints and working from photographs of your own beloved animal companion. Whether you are new to painting or looking to sharpen your skills, an expert painter will guide you through the process of capturing your pet’s personality and charm in paint. From sketching the initial composition to layering colors and adding final details, you will paint a timeless, personal artwork that is perfect for giving or keeping! Please bring your lunch. The workshop will take a lunch break from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. The Windgate Art School is generously supported by the Windgate Foundation with additional support from Sherry Worthen in memory of George Worthen. The Windgate Art School’s Reduced Tuition Program is supported by Michael Laughter. Reduced tuition is automatically applied to all classes through 2026.
