About this event
Join us for a Community Period Party! This engaging and inclusive event is designed to support tweens, teens and the people who love them. Celebrate periods, promote body literacy, reduce stigma and open the door to thoughtful, positive conversations about menstrual cycles. Throughout the day, enjoy interactive games, hands-on crafts and access to helpful resources. Our welcoming environment makes it easy for everyone to learn, ask questions and connect with others. Take home a goody bag while supplies last if you wear your favorite red outfit for the occasion. For ages 8 to 18, all genders are welcome! How To Attend Register by the start of the event. Chicago Public Library cannot collect personal information online from kids 0 to 13. A parent or guardian’s email address must be used to register. As a reminder, school email addresses may block external emails such as those from CPL. Accessibility Need sign language interpretation or other accessibility assistance for this event?
