About this event
Music by Alan Menken Lyrics by Glenn Slater Book by Bill and Cheri Steinkellner Directed by Marcus Jordan Deloris, a lonely aspiring star and nightclub singer, witnesses a murder and goes into witness protection at a local convent. Against her will, she is tasked with directing the poorly performing nun choir. With glitz, humor, and sheer willpower, Deloris manages to turn the shabby nun chorus into a fabulous performing ensemble. This lighthearted musical comedy based on the 1992 hit film features a disco-infused score by famed Disney film composer Alan Menken.
