About this event
Paws to Read is a program at which young independent readers can practice their skills by reading to friendly trained dogs at the library. The dogs provide a calming presence and a nonjudgmental listening ear for kids who are hoping to gain more confidence in reading aloud. Practique su lectura independiente junto a un perro. Inscripción obligatoria. (De 6 a 12 años) PLEASE NOTE: This program is primarily for children ages 6-12, but younger independent readers may also participate. Children MUST be able to read on their own in order to sign up. No reading instruction will be provided.
