About this event

$ 35 / 58 / 68 “Playful and powerful in equal measure.” – Around the Town Chicago For nearly two decades, the two-time Grammy-nominated duo Black Violin has been merging string arrangements with modern beats and building bridges in communities along the way. Members Kev Marcus and Wil Baptiste first met in high school orchestra class. Now they sell out headline performances at the most prestigious venues in the U.S., prompting NPR to declare that “their music will keep classical music alive for the next generation.” Their latest album Full Circle bursts with indelible melodies, boom-bap rhythms, rich orchestration, and lyrics full of hope and persistence, revealing the range and depth of a project the members call “more a movement than a brand.” Buy Tickets Artist Links: Website Facebook Instagram Other Upcoming Events Box Office Oct 9 October 9, 2026 The War & Treaty with special guest Blank Page October 9, 2026 Read more → October 9, 2026 Oct 16 October 16, 2026 Screening of “Ueck: The Story of Baseball's Most Unlikely Legend” October 16, 2026 Read more → October 16, 2026 Oct 20 October 20, 2026 PASSPORT PROGRAM: Curious George: The Golden Meatball October 20, 2026 Read more → October 20, 2026 Oct 23 October 23, 2026 Eric Lewis & Josh Harty In The Round @ The Cramer Exchange October 23, 2026 Read more → October 23, 2026 Oct 25 October 25, 2026 The Firekeeper: A Contemporary Ballet October 25, 2026 Read more → October 25, 2026 Nov 18 November 18, 2026 PASSPORT PROGRAM: Black Violin: The Be Free Tour November 18, 2026 Read more → November 18, 2026 Dec 11 December 11, 2026 Gunhild Carling – Sweden’s Queen of Swing Swingin’ Holiday December 11, 2026 Read more → December 11, 2026 Dec 19 December 19, 2026 Booker T. & BBQ We Three Springs Performs In The Christmas Spirit & Other Soul Favorites @ The Cramer Exchange December 19, 2026 Barbecue Fare Read more → December 19, 2026 Feb 16 February 16, 2027 PASSPORT…
