Boulanger, Ibert, Poulenc, and Ravel each offer a distinct musical palette—from the intimacy of Jacques Ibert’s Piece pour flûte seule to the to the shimmering motion of Une barque sur l’océan, the charm of Poulenc’s sonata, and the dramatic sweep of Ravel’s Piano Trio. Chee-Yun, Karissa Shivone, Benjamin Hochman, and featured flutist Jennifer Steele brings these works to life with nuance, color, and expressive warmth.
