Want to chat with other parents about the parenting book you just read? Are you looking for a place to discuss the joys and difficulties of raising kids? Join us for Parenting and Paperbacks! We will be talking about a specific topic, and you are invited to read a book (or two) and come ready to add to the conversation. If you don't have the opportunity to read a book, come for the discussion anyway! For this meeting, we'll be talking about kids and activities. Books include The Hurried Child; Find Your Unicorn Space; The 10 Habits of Happy Mothers; The Fringe Hours; How to be a Happier Parent; To Have and to Hold: Motherhood, Marriage, and the Modern Dilemma; I Am Never Bored, Gardening Projects for Kids, The Best Kids Cookbook, Crafting Calm, Backyard Birding for Kids, Art Lab for Kids, Little Kids First Big Book of Sports, Guide to Photography, Exploring Nature Activity Book for Kids, Easy Piano Sheet Music, and Cool Knitting for Kids. We welcome kids to come along with their grownups. We'll lay out some toys, but you are responsible for your child while in the library. This program is presented by library staff.
