Parenting and Paperbacks

Want to chat with other parents about the parenting book you just read? Are you looking for a place to discuss the joys and difficulties of raising kids? Join us for Parenting and Paperbacks! We will be talking about a specific topic, and you are invited to read a book (or two) and come ready to add to the conversation. If you don't have the opportunity to read a book, come for the discussion anyway! For this meeting, we'll be talking about Organizing Your Life (and the Kids). Books on this topic include The Family Manager Takes Charge; The Home Edit; Tidy Up Your Life; How to Keep House While Drowning; Organizing for the Rest of Us; Raising an Organized Child; Tidying the Abyss; Where’s My Stuff; House Love; Four Thousand Weeks; Outer Order, Inner Calm; Organizing Solutions for People with ADHD; Decluttering at the Speed of Life; The Home Edit; How to Be a Person; Life Skills for Kids; Messy or Neat; Too Many Toys; and Get Organized Without Losing It.We welcome kids to come along with their grownups. We'll lay out some toys, but you are responsible for your child while in the library. This program is presented by library staff.
