Want to chat with other parents about the parenting book you just read? Are you looking for a place to discuss the joys and difficulties of raising kids? Join us for Parenting and Paperbacks! We will be talking about a specific topic. You are invited to read a book and come ready to add to the conversation. If you don't have the opportunity to read a book, come for the discussion anyway! This month, we'll be talking about sibling relationships and only children. Books on this topic include Understanding Sibling Rivalry; The Sibling Effect; Mom, Jason’s Breathing on Me; Raising Mediators; Siblings without Rivalry; The Drama Free Workbook; Blend: The Secret to Co-Parenting; Raising Loving Siblings; One and Only: The Freedom of Having an Only Child, and the Joy of Being One; The Family Dynamic; You and Your Only Child; and The Future of Your Only Child. We welcome kids to come along with their grownups. We'll lay out some toys, but you are responsible for your child while in the library. This program is presented by library staff.
