Paper Marbling & Clamshell Box with Tray (Nantucket)

In this workshop you will learn how to do paper marbling and then make a beautiful box with your papers. Day 1 — 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. –Spend a full day learning foundational paper marbling techniques. You will practice several patterns and complete a collection of finished papers to use in the box‑making portion of the workshop as well as future projects. Days 2 & 3 — 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. Learn to construct a clamshell box with a removable tray. Instruction will cover box design, grain direction, and core bookbinding methods that can be applied to future book and box projects. The finished piece will be both functional and visually refined.
