Paper Leaf Wreath with Deaney Weaney Blooms

Community Room. Celebrate the colors of the season with a vibrant paper leaf wreath! In this creative workshop, participants will learn how to craft and layer colorful paper leaves to form a striking wreath, perfect for autumn décor or year-round display. Using quality cardstock and simple shaping techniques, participants will create a lush arrangement of leaves in warm, festive hues. Participants will have the opportunity to experiment with color combinations and arrangement styles as they build their own custom wreath. All materials are provided, and no prior experience is necessary. Each participant creates one paper leaf wreath. Registration is required. Participants will leave with a beautiful, handcrafted wreath that brings a touch of nature and creativity to any space! Deaney (Deenee) Bautista is a Filipina paper florist, designer, and founder of Deaney Weaney Blooms, a paper flower studio formerly based in North Carolina and now based in Rochester, NY. After years of working as a visual merchandising and exhibition designer, she explored and fell in love with the craft of making paper flowers when she moved to the US from the Philippines 5 years ago. She shares her love for the craft by making and designing paper flower templates and tutorials that anyone can follow.
