Palestine Film Series: ‘Aisha’s Story’ and ‘Exception’ – May 3
The third annual Palestine Film Series returns to the Latchis Theatre with screenings of compelling, high-quality films about Palestinian culture, history, current issues and resistance, on four successive Sundays – April 12, 19 and 216, and May 3 – at 4:00pm. Audiences are invited to stay for moderated conversations after the films. The series concludes on May 3 with a double feature – Aisha’s Story and Exception. Aisha’s Story is a documentary about a woman who preserves food traditions in exile. Exception documents a professor accused of antisemitism, who risks his career to uphold academic freedom.
