About this event
In this family-friendly workshop, artist Ellie Irons will lead a paint-making demo using commonly available plant materials to make vibrant, non-toxic watercolor paints. Children and their families can experiment with watercolor paints made from cabbage, beets, hibiscus, and even some locally foraged weedy plants that are part of Ellie's Feral Hues project. Participants will take home a recipe page on how to experiment with making their own paints at home! Note: Space and materials are limited!
