On the library floor in the tween area.. Join Gaby for a guided painting session! Kids will learn how to create their masterpiece, from start to finish in one session. Kids will also discuss basic color theory concepts, such as mixing, matching and contrasting as well as using art to evoke emotions. Every month will have a different theme. This month’s painting will be evening camp scene, just in for the Summer Reading Program! This year’s theme is “Unearth a Story”, sign up for the program here. Registration is NOT required, however, space is limited and on a first come, first served basis. Doors will close promptly at 4:10 pm to ensure enough time to finish projects.
