This special 21+ event features an instructor-guided acrylic painting workshop inspired by the phenomenon of the solar halo. Solar halos are optical phenomena that appear in the colder seasons as a luminous ring or circle around the sun, caused by sunlight refracting off hexagonal ice crystals high in the Earth’s atmosphere. While the Winter Solstice marks the shortest day of the year, it also signals the gradual return of longer daylight hours. Join us to celebrate the beauty of light and the winter sky!
