Pacific Library's "New Adult" Book Club: Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro

This month's read is Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro. About the book: "From the Booker Prize-winning author of The Remains of the Day and When We Were Orphans, comes an unforgettable edge-of-your-seat mystery that is at once heartbreakingly tender and morally courageous about what it means to be human. Hailsham seems like a pleasant English boarding school, far from the influences of the city. The "New Adult" Book Club at the Pacific Library is a monthly book club for “New Adults,” individuals aged 17-27 years old. We read a variety of contemporary fiction as well the occasional nonfiction. The hope is this book discussion will bring together young and new adults in the area to foster community, relationships, and a love for reading. Copies of the novel are available to put on hold here or a limited few are available to pick up at Pacific Library's front desk. Please register if you can, but all are welcome!
