## Details Join us for this short hike to the over look, about half way to the top of Pacheco Peak. Length: 2.6 miles............ Difficulty: Moderate.......... Elevation gain: 700 ft Route type: Loop .......... Pace: Relaxed.................... Dogs: Yes This short, steep hike starts at the Cerro Gordo trailhead on upper canyon road and climbs to the top of a low peak in the foothills surrounding Pacheco peak. then continues on to join the Pacheco Peak trail. The overlook has a spetacular view, looking west, all the way to Mount Taylor Bring poles, hat, sunscreen, Rain coat, plenty of water and snacks.
