Our Human Calling

About this event

When we speak of “calling” we usually associate that with ministry, but “calling” applies to all humans. As Christians, we share the calling of “Thy Kingdom Come!,” the calling to co-create with Christ a world of justice, peace, and love. For this, we are given graces that support us in the work it will take to fulfill our calling, and we join with others in mutual community and communion. Join us to explore the joy that comes with finding out how immense our hearts really are, how dear we are to the Holy Spirit, and how important we are to all beings. David Richo, Ph.D., is a formerly active Catholic priest and now a psychotherapist, workshop leader, and author who has written numerous books translated into 30 languages. He has taught at a variety of places, including Esalen, Spirit Rock Buddhist Retreat Center, San Francisco Zen Center, and San Damiano Retreat Center. His website is davericho.com Barry Brown is a former Protestant minister and now a teacher, mentor, and workshop leader. Barry combines storytelling and spiritual formation/practices in his work.
