Our Best Guest is a fully improvised Christopher Guest-style mockumentary from the creators of Hitch*Cocktails and Clued In. Every performance begins with a conversation with a special audience guest, whose real-life passion or community becomes the inspiration for an entirely original documentary-style comedy. Whether it’s the National Cornhole Championships, the underground world of competitive eating, historical reenactors, or another wonderfully niche obsession, a cast of exceptional improvisers dives headfirst into that world—bringing it to life with unforgettable characters, heartfelt rivalries, documentary interviews, and one hilariously high-stakes event. Every performance is completely unscripted, ensuring no two shows are ever alike. Performed around a bank of live microphones with an onstage director guiding the story and a live Foley artist creating the world in real time, each performance is recorded before a live audience and released as a podcast.
