**This is a writing workshop that meets on the 4th Wednesday of every month at the Winter Park Library.** We focus on learning a new technique or method each month. A guest speaker will share a sample of their work and then give a writing prompt for everyone to follow. We'll all write for 30 minutes, and then share our work with others, and receive helpful suggestions about what to improve. Bring your laptops, tablets, a notebook and pen, and a willingness to learn. This month, we'll learn about how to ask that *one question* that evolves into a story. Join author Veronica Boaz for a conversation about where stories come from, how fictional characters become real, and why novels are uniquely suited to exploring the most difficult questions about human nature. Through examples from her own writing journey, Veronica shares how a simple "What if?" evolved into *Justice Is Not Blind* and invites participants to think about the stories—and questions—that shape all of us. Veronica Boaz is the author of *Justice Is Not Blind*, the first novel in the Justice DeMair series. Veronica's professional career spanned psychotherapy, organizational consulting, technology leadership, education, and program management. A lifelong learner, she earned her Ph.D. at the age of fifty-one. She lives in Central Florida, where she writes and paints.
