About this event

BUY TICKETS The internationally acclaimed Apple Hill String Quartet returns to the gorgeous acoustics of Orchard Chapel with another exciting program, from Beethoven to Studio Ghibli! Including works by award-winning Swedish composer Andrea Tarrodi, a world premiere by Broadway artist Cenovia Cummins (whose music can be heard in the hit Nora Ephron film Julie & Julia), a nod to the popular Miyazaki film music of Joe Hisaishi, and Ludwig van Beethoven’s timeless classic String Quartet in A Major Op. 18 No. 5, all accompanied by the brilliant fall foliage of the NH Seacoast, this concert is sure to delight. Called “dashing and extraordinary” by The Strad magazine, the Apple Hill String Quartet draws in audiences with their curiosity for music from the 12th century to today and tomorrow. They believe chamber music connects people of diverse backgrounds, cultures, and ages, and are committed to making music performance and supportive, non-competitive education accessible to all. This is a concert not to be missed this autumnal season! See you soon!
