Opera in the Park (Garner Park)

Hi everyone, This will be a fun and easy one: no planning or organizing for us to do, no ticket fees except BYOB! Madison Opera is hosting a FREE event on July 18th at Garner Park, on the west side of town. Lots of opera companies host free summer events like this to promote their upcoming season and showcase new artists. In my experience these gigs are always worth the price of admission (ha ha). It looks like the Madison Opera will be showing some excerpts from *Norma* and *Carmen,* the two main operas for the 26/27 season, as well as *Rigoletto, The Pearl Fishers, Rusalka, Sweeney Todd, Idomeneo, Medea, Everlasting Faint* and *The Tales of Hoffmann.* Should be the perfect excuse to hang out in the park on a summer evening, have a drink, listen to some great music and meet opera-loving friends.
