Discovery Lab. The Oceanside Library’s Discovery Lab provides access to creative technologies including 3D printers, laser engravers, Cricut machines, sublimation printers, robots, and VR. To ensure safe, fair, and responsible use. Use of Discovery Lab equipment requires signing the Discovery Lab Equipment Usage Policy & Waiver, confirming understanding and agreement to these guidelines. Items created in the Discovery Lab are for personal, educational, or hobby use only. Commercial use, mass production, or creating items for sale is not permitted. Patrons are responsible for ensuring their designs comply with copyright and trademark laws. All participants must follow safety procedures and staff instructions at all times. Unsafe behavior or misuse of equipment will result in immediate termination of the session. The library is not responsible for project failure or damage to personal materials. Patrons are responsible for preparing and finalizing their own digital files. Staff may review files for safety but will not edit or correct them. Staff will be on hand for minimal assistance.
