About this event
Wrap up Fall Break with a special visit from the Opelika Police Department K-9 Unit! Meet some of OPD’s four-legged officers and their handlers and see a live demonstration of the skills these incredible dogs use on the job. Officers will share how police K-9s are selected and trained, explain the important role they play in keeping our community safe, and answer questions from the audience. It’s a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to be part of a K-9 team!
