Considered the be the greatest ground-breaking horror film of all time, King Kong features a superb cast including the Scream Queen, Fay Wray, daredevil adventurer Robert Armstrong, and love interest Bruce Cabot plus it boasts a magnificent music score, heart-stopping action sequences, innovative stop-action animation, and the dynamic introduction of what is considered the classic movie monster of them all: Kong, the 8th Wonder of the World! This 1933 film has spawned countless remakes and sequels, but none have ever captured the imagination and sheer excitement of the original. Presented by Sal St George in collaboration with the Field Library of Peekskill, the Irvington, Mamaroneck, and Somers public libraries, and hosted by the Yonkers Public Library.
