About this event
When the clocks “fall back” on November 1, an extra hour of sleep might sound like a welcome change. However, the bi-annual shift in daylight can have real effects on your health. Join a sleep medicine specialist for an engaging and practical discussion on how daylight saving time impacts your body's internal clock, sleep quality, mood, and overall well-being. You'll learn why just even one hour can make such a big difference in your body and mind – and what you can do to adjust more quickly and easily. Whether you're someone who struggles with sleep or you just want to feel your best during the time change, this talk will provide helpful tips to support healthier sleep. Presented by Nicole O'Malley, MD, Overlake Clinics Sleep Medicine Sponsored by Overlake Medical Center. Please register. You will be emailed a link no later than one hour before the program start time. Reasonable accommodation for people with disabilities is available by request. Email access@kcls.org at least seven days before the event. Automated closed captioning is always available for online events.
