Healthy comfort food made easy! In this interactive one-pot pasta class, you’ll learn a simple formula for building delicious, nutrient-rich meals using fresh ingredients and pantry staples. Certified Public Health Education Specialist, David Gutierrez from the Weld County Department of Pubic Health covers knife skills, flavor-building basics, and how to create light yet satisfying sauces, all while keeping cleanup quick and simple. Perfect for busy cooks who want wholesome meals without the fuss. Children ages 6 -12 are welcome with their caregivers. Please register each member who will be attending. More from the Department of Public Health and Environment Healthy Plate at Home (HPAH) offers eight flexible sessions, each lasting 30 or 60 minutes, that can be delivered in person or online. Designed as a condensed version of the six-week series, HPAH is a convenient option for those looking to build practical cooking and nutrition skills. Sessions can stand alone or be combined into a series, making it easy to fit healthy cooking lessons into any schedule.
