The case in question: Following the sudden disappearance of Cari Farver in 2012, her family and her former partner, Dave Kroupa, became targets of a relentless multi-year campaign of digital harassment sent under Farver's name. Investigators eventually uncovered a complex scheme of digital impersonation, leading to a groundbreaking murder conviction despite the absence of a physical crime scene. Our group will focus on deep-diving into specific true crime cases. Each month, as a group we'll explore a case through a variety of mediums. That means you're encouraged to bring your favorite book on the case, a gripping podcast episode, a compelling documentary, or even fascinating articles you've found.
