Old Plank Road Prairie Eco-Restoration Kickoff!

The Old Plank Road Prairies are some of the finest old growth black soil prairies in Illinois. Let's join together to launch a new era of stewardship for this important site! As an introduction to the work, we'll collect prairie seeds and cut invasive brush. Then we'll share snacks, celebrate our good work together, and begin organizing the grassroots effort to keep the momentum going. All are welcome - no prior experience necessary. Restoration communities need all kinds of people with all kinds of interests. Let's get together!
