Community Room - Betts, Betts Branch Library. Join local author and historian Jim Farfaglia for a presentation based on his book Of the Earth: Stories From Oswego County's Muck Farms. Of the Earth draws on interviews with local muck farmers, their families, neighbors, and agricultural agency staff, weaving their voices together to tell the unique story of muck farming in Central New York. Farfaglia will share the history, experiences, and people behind this distinctive part of our region’s agricultural heritage.
