Join Chicago Sews for our November Bring Your Own Machine (BYOM) Open Sew! This will be the last Open Sew meetup event of 2026! Let's take this time to make meaningful progress on our shirt/dress sew-along projects, and enjoy each other's company. BYOM events are intentionally low-pressure and social. Work at your own pace, share what you’re making if you’d like, and enjoy being in a room full of people who just get it. All experience levels are welcome — beginners, seasoned sewists, and everyone in between. Necessary tools, notions, and extension cord Personal snacks and beverages (opt) * Earbuds, if you need to lock in (opt) Table space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis — plan to arrive early if you need extra room to spread out.
