Nothing to Watch Dance Performance

In Nothing to Watch, Maho Ogawa explores Zen philosophy through movement and choreography. Drawing from her research into meditation and embodied experience, Ogawa considers how bodies share space in outdoor environments while navigating both the inner experience and the world around them. The performance invites audiences to reflect on a different relationship to time, space, and attention - one that is open, non-hierarchical, and shared across bodies. Japanese tea will be provided by Haco NYC. In this site-specific piece, Ogawa invites the audience to engage with and share a meditative mindset throughout performance.
