Northwest Coast Wolf Panel Painting Workshop

Join Tlingit artist Wéidaaká Yóodóohaa (Bill Pfeifer, Jr.) in a painting workshop featuring a traditional Northern Northwest Coast wolf formline design. The session begins with an introduction to formline structure, cultural context, and the visual language of ovoids, U‑forms, and key design relationships. Each participant will receive a prepared Red Cedar panel featuring a wolf head design. Bill will guide the group through the painting process step by step, explaining how color, balance, and line weight bring the form to life. This workshop is designed for beginners and experienced artists alike. All materials are provided, and participants will leave with a finished panel and a deeper understanding of Northwest Coast art traditions.
