**Pirate Fest:** Ahoy pirates from near and far!🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️ Pirate Fest offers FREE entry with entertainment, food vendors, and much more on site! This day of the Pirate Festival is for pirates young and old alike - kids, families and individuals! You'll find on-site vendors, yummy pirate drinks (rum, mead, and beer)🍺🥃🍹, mermaids for photos and questions🧜‍♀️🧜🧜‍♂️, crafts, activities including bounce houses🧵🧶, historical information, incredible Piratical demonstrations, special character appearances and more! *For more information about the Northglenn Pirate Festival:* https://thepiratefest.com/ Are ye crafty? Try the Pirate Fest Regatta! **Pirate Fest Regatta:** Ahoy mateys! A new tide is coming in to bring back Pirate Fest and the cardboard regatta for 2026! Aspiring scallywags are invited to build a boat of cardboard, duct tape, and paint, then paddle to race across Webster Lake at EB Rains Park for fun, glory, and the chance to win prizes. The cardboard boat regatta will be on Saturday, September 19. The festival opens at noon and boats need to be at the registration area by the boat house no later than 1:30 pm. The race is on at 2:00 PM. Boats will be on display and reviewed to make sure that they are following the rules. Registration fee is $20 for all boats, regardless of size or number of riders. *For more information about the regatta:* https://thepiratefest.com/regatta/ **Directions and Parking:** The Pirate Festival is at the Northglenn Recreation Center and EB Rains Jr. Memorial Park at 11701 Community Center Drive, Northglenn, CO 80233. Drive North/South on I-25, turn EAST onto 120th Avenue and North onto Community Center Drive. Ample parking is available in City Hall and at the Northglenn Recreation Center but also at the Metro North Building and at Ramada Plaza, Northglenn. Please note that Community Center Drive between the old rec center and the City Hall entrance will be CLOSED for the duration of the festival.
