About this event
Join tinsmith Kitty Latané and learn to create beautiful holiday decorations with tin in this half-day workshop. Brighten your own home for the holidays or make the perfect gift with tin! In this class, students will cut and twist tinsel, pierce tin and shape it into votive candle holders, and cut and shape ornaments, embossing and stamping them to create beautiful decorations. Additional information: Advanced registration required. A $15 materials fee is due in class and covers all tools and materials. You may want to bring earplugs or noise protection. An additional session of this workshop is offered on Saturday, November 21. Prerequisites: Physical Ability: Metalworking can create a loud environment; you may want to bring noise protection or earplugs. Skill level: Open to all skill levels. Ages: Suitable for ages 14+.
