Nordic Drum Circle and Art Making

Join us for our first themed (Drum Circle) and Art creation time! We will start the evening with a (Drum Circle) focused on Nordic music which will be played in the background as we accompany each song. Music will be selected from traditional Nordic style music with the band Danheim. We will most likely meet in the parlor for more space and create the mood with dimmer lights and a small strobe light that reflects the beats of the music. you have any drums that are Celtic/Shaman/Vilking type drums that would be great! This is a time we can close our eyes and get lost in the sounds and energy of the time. After the (Drum Circle), everyone is invited to create your own artwork based on Nordic symbols and various art of the time. I will provide stencils that reflects some of the images allowing us to either do a small painting or impress in Clay. You decide how to create your work. I will provide some simple instruments such as a few drums and shakers. If you have an instrument of any kind, feel free to bring it as it can always blend into the sound we create. This is a time we can connect and create well also exploring something new. Feel free to park in either lot and come to the double red doors on the west side entrance. I ask for a small donation to the event for use of the parlor and the cost to help provide art material materials. A $10 donation is suggested, but you can feel free to give less or more based on your ability.
