Noah Gittell and Ashley Gulla Singer/songwriters Noah Gittell and Ashley Gulla have only recently begun making music together, after each has carved out a place for themselves as solo artists in NE Ohio's robust music scene. For their show at Treelawn Social Club, Noah and Ashley will be trading country songs onstage, joining in from time to time, and providing a warm, comforting, and moving experience for listeners. After cutting his teeth in the New York clubs, Noah came to the Forest City in early 2025 and quickly established himself as an artist with a unique voice and talent. Blending emotional clarity with sharp lyrics, he shifts easily between wry storytelling and heartfelt confession. His catalog of original songs ranges from cheeky ("What'll I Do When the Drugs Don't Work") to romantic ("I'll Be Your Tree") to darkly witty ("Happy Death Day"). Ashley is an Akron/Cleveland-based singer-songwriter stepping into a solo career with a sound that blends old-school country, Americana, and indie-pop. Often compared to artists like Jewel and Dolly Parton, Ashley pairs her warm, expressive vocals with heartfelt, story-driven songwriting. She has an intimate, rhythmic playing style that complements her voice, rather that competing with it. Her music is honest, personal, and both familiar and distinctively her own.
