About this event
Join Interpretive Specialist Alysa Adams as we play wildlife observer of the night sky to spy on the Northern Constellations! We’ll check out skulls and skins, scats and tracks from familiar critters that call Washington home and happen to have a series of stars named after them! While star gazing, I bet you’ve seen the Big Dipper and the Little Dipper (Ursa Major and Ursa Minor…..Ursa meaning “bear”), but have you seen a bear skull, compared your hand to a bear paw, or held a giant pile of poo? Visit us Saturday to explore the wonders of Washington wildlife and grow an appreciation for these creatures as we connect the dots star-by-star-by-star. NOTE: Telescope viewing will not be available at this event. Discover Pass required.
