Night Sky Adventure with Gifford Farm

Look up and let your imagination soar! Inside a mobile planetarium, kids will journey through space to discover stars, planets, and galaxies, and learn how ancient stories shaped the constellations we see today. While you wait for your show to begin or to continue the fun after, themed crafts will allow young astronauts to further explore constellations. Parents/caregivers must remain with their child(ren) for the duration of the program and are encouraged to help younger children with the activity. There will be 3 sessions: one at 1 p.m., one at 1:45 p.m., and one at 2:30 p.m. Registration is required and opens Oct. 1. Please call 402.444.5274 or email as-managers@omahalibrary.org to register for a time slot. Parents/caregivers are welcome to watch, too, and should be included when you register. This is a free event for children ages 6-12. Craft supplies will be provided while supplies last. All Omaha Public Library locations are wheelchair accessible.
