Night Hike through Sodalis Nature Preserve

We don’t think much about how moths contribute to the eco-system, but they do in many ways. They are important pollinators, food for bats, and have interesting life cycles. Some don’t even eat as adults. We’ll hang a sheet with a black light and see how many different moths and other insects we can observe. Observers can stay later as more moths come out the later it gets. The full program is approximately 2 hours and covers a 2 mile paved loop with a steep incline. Participants have the option to return sooner as desired. Please register as space is limited.
