Night Hike through Sodalis Nature Preserve

The bats at the Sodalis Nature Preserve have mostly spent the summer in forests near and far. Not only do birds begin migrating in August but so do the bats that overwinter in the Lime Kiln Mine at Sodalis. We’ll see if the number of bats we see at some of the mine openings have increased since the summer. The full program is about two hours and in a 2- mile paved loop with a steep incline. Participants have the option to return sooner as desired.
