Next Steps Ceramics

About this event

Refine your foundational ceramics skills by continuing to practice key skills such as centering and pulling walls. Students will throw and shape projects with intention, practice modifying shapes after a piece is thrown and throw larger pieces. Natalie will give guidance in how to make spouts and lids off the hump. Some projects may include pitchers, teapots, casserole / serving dishes or lidded jars. Prerequisite: students must have completed at least one beginning ceramics class or the equivalent either at the Art Colony or elsewhere.
