Doors will open at 5:00 PM for Dinner and Drink Service. Come to the Cabaret old chum, and experience the Twin Cities’ best new musical theatre works, curated by the area’s oldest musical theatre writers collective, with new music by Brenda Varda, Maureen Kane Berg, Tom Berg, Kevin Bowen, Janet Preus, Marienne Kreitlow, Bob Derus, Mike Nilles, Rick Rhobajt Widen, and Keith Benson, with special guest performers Nicole Korbisch, Martha Fischer, Kiran Arquin, Maya Pantanowitz, Michael Burton, Alex Gerchak and Ella Rose Katzenberger. The New Musical Theatre Exchange is a nonprofit 501 (c) that exists to bring together committed librettists, lyricists. and composers of musical theatre in the Twin Cities to have their work read and workshopped, find collaborators, share useful information, and support efforts to get members’ work produced, founded in 2012 by a diverse group of Twin Cities playwrights, composers, and lyricists dedicated to launching new musicals in the Twin Cities and beyond. nmte.org
